Welcome to Nunavut Music 😍

Hey everyone,

Thanks again for your help in getting Nunavut Music up and running! We’re super excited to be working with you all, and we’ve already had a ton of positive support from across Nunavut and abroad.

To get started, we have a few housekeeping items to discuss…

Member Registration

In order to reach our mission of helping Nunavut artists and music industry workers, we’ve created a quick questionnaire to get new members registered and get a better understanding of the challenges.

Link: https://forms.gle/W6aqEt5XoRpTkAiE7

This survey takes less than 2 minutes to complete, and your answers will help us determine the best ways our new music industry association can provide support.

Membership is 100% free and there are no obligations. Registering just allows members to access Nunavut Music services once we’re up and running.

Please share this link with everyone you think would be interested in joining, keeping in mind that all members must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Nunavut music industry professionals with 2+ years experience

  • Canadian music industry professionals 15+ years experience, or

  • Representatives from Nunavut-based arts, cultural, and economic development organizations, which are either democratically elected, demographically-representative, or reputable advocates of the interests of Nunavummiut artists.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The AGM will be held in the fall of 2023. A minimum of 35 days notice will be given prior to the date, and the primary purpose of the meeting will be to elect a board of directors. The meeting’s agenda will also be shaped by the feedback received from the questionnaire.
